Our Team

Garrison began his lake-centric career in high school as a Courtesy Boat Inspector for several seasons with the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed. Originally from Monmouth, he attended Colby College where he studied Environmental Policy and worked as an intern with the Lake Stewards of Maine, traveling the state with the DEP Lakes Assessment team. After graduating in 2013, Garrison spent his early professional career with Midcoast Conservancy, becoming Director of Water Conservation and leading watershed restoration efforts in the Damariscotta Lake and Sheepscot River watersheds. In 2021 he became a Water Resources Specialist with VHB, an environmental consulting firm, where he supports state and local clients across New England with MS4 stormwater compliance, stormwater treatment, and water resource planning services.
