Caroline joined the Maine Lakes' team in 2022. Previously, she worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers in various roles, primarily as a park ranger. During her time as a ranger, Caroline worked on drafting natural resource management plans, planning cartographic projects, presenting interpretive programs to the public, and coordinating volunteer projects. She has also worked and volunteered in the Geographic Information Systems field, administering GIS software on the county level and transcribing historical documents for a federal geodatabase. Caroline received her B.S. in Forestry and M.S. in Sustainable Agriculture and Entomology from Iowa State University where she studied the impacts of conservation practices on pollinator communities in agricultural landscapes.
